Kodachrome

A couple of snaps I took a few weeks ago at the open day that City had at the new stadium last July. I forgot I still had them languishing in the camera.

These are the seats in front of our own. We have two season tickets and our seats are right at the back of the 3rd (highest tier). At first we found this a little vertigo-inducing but we've become quite used to it now. It's funny how quickly you become "acclimatised" to new places. When I took these photographs I'd never been to the City of Manchester stadium and I felt a little over-awed by the place. A few short months later and its already starting to feel like home. I can't wait for the freezing cold depths of winter and night matches with the stadium all aglow.

There's not a lot to say about this. We were walking back to the car after the open day and this just drove past. It raises many questions. Why didn't they put the coffin inside the van ? Where had they been ? Where were they going ? Was it empty ???????

Just been outside to stare at Mars through Eldest's telescope. I couldn't focus on the red planet properly though as my eye kept watering. I had more luck with the moon which really is impressive. Craters and everything you can see.
