So You Win Again
Shocking report in today's Observer detailing the result of a seemingly routine incident. The fact that this type of occurence is happening regularly and not being reported speaks volumes. Is Iraqi life so cheap ? There's one thing for certain, carry on like this and the USA will have another Vietnam on its hands. At the moment I can't see an end to the mess. As long as Dubya and his "New American Century" cronies hold power the debacle will continue. More lives lost - Iraqi, British, American, military and civilian.
Michael Meacher has stirred up a lot of anger over his claims that America knew a lot more about 9/11 than it let on at the time. He concludes that Iraq was invaded using 9/11 as the excuse, and that the real reason was to acquire more oil.
Meanwhile Mr Intellect will address the American people this evening in an attempt to regain some semblance of popularity among the increasingly cynical public. It should be a cinch, a poll has indicated that most Americans still believe that Saddam had something to do with 9/11.* If you can get them to believe that then surely you can get them to believe anything.
