Hard Times

Dearest went for her mammogram today. It's been really hard for both of us having to deal with all these health scares. Fortunately everything looks ok. Just next week's hysterectomy to get over then we can both start looking to life improving. All we can see at the moment is a dark tunnel leading to next Thursday. Once the actual operation is over we can start the long process of recovery.

We went to the pub tonight (Cotton not Willow) to have a few post-traumatic drinks. We'd actually forgotten all about United's game in Stuttgart. So it was quite pleasant (for me at least - Dearest is still a closet Red) to see the cocky buggers get beat by a team of young kids.

Once again Fergie has demonstrated his need for a decent coach to advise him on team selection and match tactics. Ronaldo a left winger? Do me a favour. Phil Neville in Beckham's old position? Need I say more.

So now I'm back home typing this on my Revo wishing it was two weeks from now.
