Homeward Bound
Here at Occupied Towers, everything is hunky dory now that Dearest is back. The only snag is we're being inundated with people phoning and calling round to see the invalid. The end result is that the pair of us are so knackered we both had an afternoon nap.
Later this evening Eldest returned from visiting his darlin' and declared that he could smell burning. Further investigation pointed to the electricity meter being the culprit.
Within the hour (12:10am) two nice young men from United Utilities had arrived and, 45 minutes later, everything electrical is safe to use again.
Even after such a short time you realise just how much we rely all the things we have that plug in holes in walls.
One extra job tomorrow - sort through all the crap we had *stored* under the stairs and get ruthless with what we keep and what we throw away.

Did David Blaine get "flash-mobbed tonight ? It was reported on 5live that there was a plan to do so at 7:00pm.
